General Information: A Postdoctoral position is available in the lab of Jesse R. Lasky ( in the Department of Biology at The Pennsylvania State University, State College, PA. Lab goals are to understand the processes that generate and maintain genetic diversity within species. Specifically, the lab studies mechanisms of local adaptation to environment, ecological and evolutionary response to environmental change, invasion, and species interactions. Our approach is integrative and involves patterns and processes at molecular and ecological levels. The primary study organisms are plants; currently including cheatgrass, Arabidopsis, sorghum, Striga, and forest trees. Qualifications/Requirements: The position requires a PhD.
