Qualifications/Requirements: Successful candidates will have a PhD or other terminal degree in their field of study and a strong record in undergraduate education and pedagogy as well as the ability to engage undergraduates in an active scholarly research program. Post-doctoral experience is preferred. The precise area of specialization is open, though special consideration will be given to candidates with professional experience in any of the following areas: plant biology, ecology, bioinformatics, computing, statistics, modeling, “big data”, field research.
Responsibilities: The Department of Biology, Behavioral Neuroscience, and Health Sciences in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences at Rider University is seeking candidates for a tenure-track position in biology.

The faculty member will be expected to contribute to instruction of general biology as well as upper-level courses in his/her disciplinary specialty, develop a research program involving undergraduate students, stimulate student interest in science, advise undergraduate students, and complement other programs on campus.
