General Information: Hendrix College invites applications for a one-year term position for an Visiting Assistant Professor of Biology to begin in August 2017. The College seeks to extend its tradition of excellence in teaching and scholarship by attracting faculty who combine mastery of their disciplines with broad intellectual interests and commitment to the aims of a liberal arts college.
Qualifications/Requirements: Doctorate is preferred; ABD will be considered.
Responsibilities: Responsibilities will include teaching an introductory-level biology course for majors, an introductory-level botany course, an upper level botany course and a general education course in plant science. Each course will include a laboratory component.
